MIRRORS
Each La Barge mirror frame is a handcrafted original.
Because every item is made by hand, no 2 pieces
will be exactly the same. There may be slight
variances in the finish and carvings which is
very characteristic of hand made products. To
care for your La Barge mirror, dust the frame
occasionally, but never use wax, cleaning compounds,
chemicals, or abrasives that can destroy the
finish. We recommend that glass cleaner be applied
directly to the cloth used for cleaning and wiped
over the mirror. Glass cleaner should never be
directly sprayed onto the mirror at the risk
of damaging the frame's protective lacquer coating. |

GLASS
TOPS
La Barge glass tops pass rigorous inspection prior
to arriving at your local retailer. Occasionally thick
glass will include a small blemish just below the surface.
This is not a defect, rather it is typical of thick
glass and only adds to its character. We recommend
that glass cleaner be applied directly to the cloth
used for cleaning and wiped over the glass. Glass cleaner
directly sprayed onto the glass may result in damage
to the table base finish. |

PAINTED
FINISH OR STAINLESS STEEL
Dust occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use
harsh detergents or metal polishes. It may result in
scratches on painted finishes and stainless steel surfaces. |

BRASS
OR BRONZE TABLES
Caring for your La Barge brass or bronze table, while
quite simple, varies according to your particular taste.
Left to an occasional dusting with a soft, dry cloth,
the brass or bronze will gradually darken to a rich
patina. This is the natural enhancing characteristic
of quality solid brass and bronze. Should you wish
to slow the darkening process, however, wax the base
every year with a high-quality furniture wax. All brass
and bronze tables have been lacquered and waxed as
a final step in quality assurance.

LEATHER
TOPPED TABLES
The La Barge leather pieces have a protective coating.
However, coasters should be used when setting beverages
on the surface. Spills should be wiped up immediately.
Care for leather as you would any fine piece of wood
furniture by using a paste wax. |
